Duphaston medication.

Hi is anyone on duphaston? I went for my first gynae check during week 8 and doctor found that I have subchorionic hemorrhage as well as an ovarian cyst. I was then prescribed duphaston. Worried about the growth of my baby.. Are any mothers facing the same issue as me?

Is antenatal classes necessary if going to have confinement lady?

hi, can share if first time parent should go for antenatal class for preparation if there is confinement lady? worth the $? #advicepls #firsttimemom

Negative thoughts

Hi mommies, I hope as I type this message and seek advice. I hope I don’t get judge. Is it normal to over think and have worries for the baby in the stomach? I feel so bad like I worry about birth defect, adhd etc .. , it’s like as if I am cursing my baby and yet at the same time anything I see or story I hear can trigger me to overthink which I find it so scary. I don’t know what to do.. I feel so sorry to my baby as though I am cursing my baby (it’s the last thing I would ever want to but I am feeling so terrible to overthink)

It’s very normal cause we can’t “see” baby 24/7 other than on scans. What I did was to just enjoy my pregnancy (watch some dramas, travel and eat your fav food) then look forward to the next scan. 😊

Hi mommies, where do you feel your baby’s kicks at 26 weeks? I am now starting to kicks un my upper tummy not sure if this is normal cos i usually feel her on the sides and lower tummy. 😅 Can you share your experiences too? ☺️#firsttimemom

I am 26 weeks too.. I feel the kick on the bottom left and sometimes on the bottom right.. and occasion middle bottom but very rare like for a day only.. I assume they swim around in our stomach 😅

GD test at SKGH

Hi there, anyone here seeing a gynae at Sengkang General Hospital too? May I ask what's the process of the GD test? Doing mine next week. A bit nervous on what's going to happen after drinking the glucose water.. TIA! #glucose

Hi, I’m not seeing a gynae at SKGH, but for GD test, you’ll be asked to take a first blood test, before drinking the glucose water. Subsequently, you will need to take another 2 blood tests at an hour’s interval each.

Gestational diabetes glucose test

Hi there, anyone did the gestational diabetes glucose test yet? What are your experiences? Any tips? Rather worried given that I’ve to fast the night before and heard that there will be 3 rounds of blood tests the next day

I did in my last pregnancy at wk 20. Nothing to worry about because tbh it does not happen overnight if u have issues with ur glucose.

Does Obimin caused urine to be smelly?

Even my husband is asking why does my urine has a foul smell. 🥲 I have no discharge , no odour from the bottom.. somehow it’s just my pee recently .. could it be obimin that I took?

Baby kick. Seeking advice desperately

I am in 26 weeks now and I can start to feel my baby kicking more aggressively. However, I have some questions to seek all you mummies experience to see if I am on the right track. When I go on long walks, I start to feel my baby kicking and making my stomach abit too tight to walk. I feel my baby kick when I walk, eat, and after food and also when I lie down… In fact throughout the day , I few his kick every other hour just that the intensity is different .. only when I just wake up or end of day, the kick can be so intense.. I wonder is my baby on right track or is he moving too much than he should ..

It’s normal, it’s actually a good sign that baby is active inside. However if you are still very worried, please consult your gynae. Otherwise, if there’s no bleeding or pain, I wouldn’t worry so much.
