Any recommend good private doctor in KKH?

Hi all mums, this is my first pregnancy. I am with KKH under subsidised now and thinking switch to private doctor. Any recommendations good private doctor in KKH? Thank you in advance. #1stimemom #kkhpatient

Hi Does anyone have taken vaccine? Can you plz recommend weather to take vaccine during pregnancy or not? I’m 22weeks now anyone have any experience? I know doctor recommended to have it but still wanted to know from some experienced mom to be.

Dr mathur is very good. Strongly recommended. She made sure my journey was safe, assured and natural

KKH subsidy to private costs

Hi all! Saw a few posts of parents switching from KKH subsidy to private (towards end of pregnancy/before giving birth). Can I ask: 1. Why did you decide to switch? 2. How much more costly did the switch cost? Do increased costs refer to gynae consultation, delivery and room booking? Thank you! #1stimemom #firstbaby #kkh #kkhpatient

I did that for my first child. 1. I wanted a gynae to be present at birth and not just midwives or medical students. For subsidized, it would be a medical student. I wasn’t comfortable that every visit there wasn’t a scan. Especially towards the end where I feel that it is v important to monitor fluid levels etc. 2. I chose a regular consultant. So instead of $40+ a visit, I paid $90-$110/ visit with scans. 3. Once you’re a PTE patient, you can only choose A1, B1 and B2+. Those require cash upfront at delivery. B2+ was $2500 deposit, which they eventually wrote a Cheque back to me for the balance.

Kkh sub delivery

Hi anyone with recent review of kkh sub delivery? Overall how was your experience positive or negative? #kkhpatient

not sure what is sub delivery 😅but I didn't have my own appointed GYN in kkh after having bad experience with her and all those VIP service and ward/bed I had paid. After my 4 forth child, my delivery was walk-in and random Dr on duty at kkh. And my girl was delivered by a experience skillful midwife nurse. She alone handled my delivery journey at the ward without any 💉💉. Hope this helps.

i failed both haha. but its a blessing in disguise for me. now i feel healthier, more energy and my weight has stabilised from the healthier food choices. i used to get energy crashes after meals (culprit was the carbs!) and i couldnt walk more than 4k steps previously but now i can walk 8k plus steps and survive 🤣.
