My wife is an impulsive buyer and spends a lot of money without thinking twice. Am afraid we are not saving enough. How do I explain her?

Sit with her and tell her that you guys need to be intelligent in spending and need to save else things will turn bad. You have to scare her a little dodge in tell her your real financial situation. You can also tell her that there is this fixed amount that you guys will be spending on shopping for x, y, z and not beyond that.
