Does duphaston increase HCG level in the blood ?

My wife been take duphaston (twice a day) for the first 13 weeks... she did a oscar test and beta HCG is high . Wondering if it does Beta HCG level to increase with Duohaston .

The beta hcg level increases because baby is growing well. Duphaston was to help stabilise the pregnancy
