Personally I started only towards the end of the first month and only for a minute or so at a time. But both my babies had relatively good neck strength and could lift off their heads off my chest/shoulder before then.
Aim for around 20 to 30 minutes a day of baby tummy time by the time he is 3 or 4 months old. Then keep the practice up until baby can roll over on his own, a feat many babies accomplish around 6 or 7 months of age.

Can start young. Also see how comfortable u r handling tummy time w baby.
Can try to start lie on your stomach first say start with one minute
it's safe to start even if your LO is 9 days old
Can start now. Put baby on your chest first..
Maybe wait another week or so(:
When you see some neck strength
