Booking of maternity wards

When did you all book your maternity wards? Will the clinic prompt you to book or should you take initiative to book first? I'm seeing private gynae, Mt Alvernia. Thanks

My gynae ask me abt the ward and gave me the required hospital documents during one of the check up. I think is when im in the 3rd tri.
