What are some gifts that you will give in laws or own parents during cny?

Ang pow is the best I feel. For old people cash is good. Also buy some cny goodies for them but old people don't eat so much so no need to buy too much. Maybe nian gao and flowers for the mothers. Abalone , fish maw and dried mushrooms such things should be good for them too
