What does the ingredients in Kodomo baby powder refer to? Sounds very "chemical"

Magnesium silicate - white powders, safe to ingest https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synthetic_magnesium_silicate Magnesium stearate - a kind of salt that gives the baby powder a smooth texture http://chriskresser.com/harmful-or-harmless-magnesium-stearate/ Allantoin - a nontoxic compound with moisturizing effects https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allantoin The substances look safe but nothing is mentioned about the fragrance if it is plant based or other details. I would still use it as it has been a trusted brand for many years and so far nothing harmful has come out of it.

When using baby talcum powder, do make sure that your baby doesn't breathe it in or it may be dangerous for their lungs if ingested in a large amount. You can try Kodomo's baby lotion powder instead. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/x25006277/is-it-safe-to-use-talcum-powder-on-my-baby
