I had my daughter when I was 18. Honestly it was very difficult. Everyone around me was having fun, in school, having relationships, going to parties, basically they all had bright futures ahead of them. I cut off ties with most of my friends and became the ultimate introvert. I had to work to support myself and my child, I had to be wary of men and their intentions bcoz most men view single mums as easy targets. I struggled no doubt but fast forward years, I can safely say that while my other same age friends are still struggling to get a job paying job, or to get a house, I've done it. It definitely made me a hell lot more mature than most people my age and even tho it was a dark past, I never would have changed anything.
