if only based on scan, there is a possibility of the boy genital to be hiding behind, the accurate one is the 13th week chromosom test (panorama or harmony test or igene test for the ivf baby). By scan, if boy it's definitely confirm, but girl have a chance of false detection. Last time I kept ask the gynae to check my girls gender, eventhough 20 weeks scan says girl, luckily both turns out to be true 😊 cos we only prepare girl's name, and I always want to have 2 girls 😆

At my 20 week scan, sonographer told me they wouldn’t inform us the gender if they’re not sure. So if they told you it’s girl, it’s girl. All the ppl on the street or friends and family are just guessing based on folklore of the pregnancy bump shape or some other indicator. Not scientific evidence.

Usually it's accurate based on the scan especially if you did the 3D scan. For mine, I believe my gynae it's because I saw the genital clearly in the scan. This is why follow-up is very important... I had my baby gender confirmed more than 3 times when doing the scanning

Lol I had the same paranoia and asked my gynae to check again. He said don't believe what your ears hear. Believe what your eyes see.

Usually scanning are accurate. I double checked with gynae and until she showed me the genital area and I saw a "split" 😂

Sorry dear. Would you rather believe people who just base your baby’s gender based on non-scientific basis than the scan?

Don't overthink, ignore all the people's comments sometimes they tend to mess up with our thoughts. Trust the scan.

Usually it’s quite accurate. The sure way to determine baby gender is through blood test. :)

Scans are usually accurate (: Do check with your gynae if you have any concerns

Rather believe what you see on the scan than old wives tales.
