Baby sitting with support

My soon-to-be 6 months old baby can sit but with support. He’s not able to sit without support yet. Is this normal? Quite concerned as soon I will be feeding him solids and I know that he needs to be able to sit unsupported. Help.

    So long as your baby can hold/support the head, you can start on solids ready.
