In the meantime, a lot of mums find that keeping the area as cool and dry as possible helps a bit, and wearing loose cotton clothing can reduce irritation, but honestly with blistering this bad you really need your PD or OB to monitor closely since the steroids should be doing more. Hang in there, it should settle once the baby comes, but do keep your doctor in the loop about what's working or not so they can adjust the plan.
