Should I swaddle my baby?

Often babies might seem like they hate being swaddled, but it's important to remember that most babies do enjoy the warmth and comfort of a swaddle wrap. If your baby starts taking their arms out of the swaddle, they're getting ready to transition and you need to stop swaddling. Make sure that your baby is not swaddled all day long.
Read moreYes you can, but when baby starts to turn sideways you should stop. It’s dangerous since they can’t move properly with swaddle. Turning around or sideways while sleeping and with swaddle might prevent them from positioning themselves properly, things might block their nose or face.
Swaddling moderates the Moro reflex, which babies don't outgrow until 4 to 6 months. Most babies outgrow swaddling from 3 to 6 months, but about 4 months is the average. If your baby starts taking their arms out of the swaddle, they're getting ready to transition.
Newborns tend to have startle reflex which may wake them up from their sleep. Swaddling them helps to "secure" their arms which allows baby to sleep longer. and if baby sleeps longer, mummy gets her own free time longer too :)
Babies before the age of 6 weeks have a Moro or startle reflex which may jolt them awake. It's not a must to swaddle your baby, but it makes him feel more secure and he won't be able to jolt awake when he is swaddled.
It’s up to you. But don’t swaddle tightly at their feets.
thanks
