I think the literature shows no evidence of major harm to babies. If you’re still worried, then take Diclectin instead? Requires doctor’s prescription too though. I took metoclopramide in the later part of the first trimester and continued in the 2nd trimester. Didn’t have issues.

If prescribed by gynae it should be fine. I also took meds for my morning sickness
