Are you particular when it comes to balancing your children's IQ and EQ?

Hello, In our society there are just handful of parents who would be stressing on developing their child's EQ. Because, we take it for granted that being a human, the kid has it all and would eventually know about how to balance his/her EQ. And we just teach them how to be the part of the rat race and how to keep running there. And then if our kids are not able to bear the pressure of being in that rat race then no parent takes the onus, because building the kid's EQ was never in the syllabus of parenting. They were supposed to know and build it on their own, because this is how all the generations do it. Well! This is how majority of the world functions, and I think parents should be given a crash course in how to build their kid's EQ because as I said, most of the parents are not aware that this is something that needs to be build. They think that life will teach them. Yes, life will of course teach them but for that they should atleast have been told as how to channelise his feelings and emotions in a way that he/she bears it without getting bruised for life.
