What are the philosophies and principles you guys believe in when it comes to your kids' education?

When it comes to my kids’ education, I’d focus on building curiosity first—helping them ask questions and enjoy learning rather than just chasing grades. A strong foundation in critical thinking and problem-solving matters more than memorization. I’d also value balance: academics are important, but so are creativity, communication skills, and emotional intelligence. Kids should feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them, not fear failure. Another key principle is adaptability. The world is changing fast, so teaching them how to learn, unlearn, and relearn is essential. Education shouldn’t be rigid—it should evolve with their interests and strengths. Lastly, I’d emphasize real-world relevance—connecting what they study to practical life skills, so they understand *why* they’re learning something, not just *what*.

Promoting curiosity, freedom for them to explore their interests is key I think. Daring to speak up, ask questions, daring to make mistakes is also another area I believe is important
