17 months old vocab

Hi parents. Can I check how's the speech development of your 17 months old baby? Currently mine can utter words such as ball, mama, mamam, bye bye, more. Is these consider ok?

Hi mum, honestly what you’re describing sounds quite encouraging and at 17 months having around 5 or more words can still be within normal range. I’d look more at whether vocabulary keeps growing and your child understands you, and if you feel progress has stalled then maybe check with PD for reassurance.
