But please also try to understand that your husband only wants what's best for your baby, like you who also wants what's best for your baby. Why not try to involve your husband in the suggestions that you are getting from the elderly? It could be better that way. Parenting is not about just you wanting what's best for the baby but it is a mutual effort and responsibility from the both of you, so better involve him as well. Support groups like this can help.
