My in laws live near our place and we get to visit them very often. I heard my mom in law teaching my child how to hit or 'palo' (in Filipino) my sister-in-law and I am not comfortable with it... How to respond politely? Help!

I'd like to assume that it's for disciplinary purposes. If it is, it is their right to practice "palo" to their own child so as long as it wouldn't gravely hurt him/her.
