How to get along with mother-in-law?

My mother in law and the maid is making stories to my husband about me. How to get along with her if she is using the maid to get rid off me out of the house? I love my husband too much. I know he believes me because we've been in a relationship for 10 years before we got married. Please give me some advise. Thank you
