Birth control for prevention

Hi mummies, what type of birth control did you take for prevention and whats the side effect? I am few months PP still not sure if i should take pills or iucd/implanon. Scared of the side effects. I went thru e-csect few months ago. Wish to know mummy’s experiences as im a ftm still new and abit clueless.

After my C-sect I went with the copper IUD because I didn't want to deal with daily pills or hormones, and my gynae inserted it at my 6-week check with no issues. Go back to your gynae and just ask them to walk you through each option based on your body lah, they will help you figure out what suits you best.
