Csection - kotex overnight panties

Any mummies uses kotex overnight panties after c section ? Does the incision rub against the panties and does it hurt ?

Hi! From what I've heard, the key thing is really the waistband placement, you want something high-waisted so the elastic sits well above the incision rather than right on it, which is why some mums actually prefer those big hospital granny panties for the first week or so before switching to anything else. Someone in my mum group mentioned pairing the Kotex overnight pads with high-waisted disposable underwear worked really well, since the pads themselves are soft and cotton-feeling rather than that scratchy plastic mesh, so at least that part isn't adding to the discomfort. That said, a few mums found it more comfortable to stick with whatever the hospital provides first, then layer in the Kotex overnights once the soreness settles a bit, so it really depends on how sensitive your incision area is in those early days. Worth trying both and seeing what your body is okay with, since recovery does vary quite a bit from person to person!
