hi mummies for those that was informed that u have slightly high in sugar during ur pregnancy what are the things u controlled/ done aft getting informed. Dont mind sharing some tips with me bc im a first time mom here :)

I switched to basmati rice, no sweet drink, eat more greens (mainly steamed) seasoned with a bit of sesame oil only. Cut down on carb intake. I've to check my sugar level at least 6 times a day.

consume carbs in moderation and limit sugar intake.. don't overeat or think that you have to eat for two.. after mid of 3rd trimester i let loose on carbs 😝

I was told to cut down on carbohydrates such as rice, noodles, pasta, durians, prata etc and sweet drinks.

Switch to brown rice and opt for low GI products (normally it will state ‘low GI’ - bread, etc).

Try reduce rice, cut sweet drinks and stuff. I check my blood sugar twice weekly
