HbA1c blood test

Hi mummies can I check for those who been informed of gdm and was asked to do self pricking reading recordings for next doc visit. Did they also ask u to do HbA1c blood test like 2hrs b4 ur next doc visit? What is that blood test for?

Hba1c is the avg blood sugar for ur last 3 mths. I do it on every visit to my endocrine. Same went for my first pregnancy. My self pricking was meant to be every day 6 times

oh then how do we know we pass this avg blood test or not? and this have to be done every visit till we delivered? or after delivery also need still do it?
