FTS shows baby NT is 3.4

Hi mummies, I’ve just went for my fts, and based on the scans, the Dr advised that baby nt is at the higher risk of 3.4. Dr did mentioned that even if the blood test is low risk, but nt is still at high risk. I’m still pending for blood test and the wait is worrying. Baby nasal bone can be seen. Can anyone share if you encounter such situations also? I’m feeling very lost now.

I hear you, this waiting period is really stressful. But please do follow up closely with your doctor on the blood test results and what they recommend next - they'll have the full picture of your risk assessment together with the NT measurement and nasal bone findings, so don't lose hope just yet. The good news is your baby's nasal bone is visible, which is a positive marker. Once you get the blood results, sit down with your doctor to go through all the options and next steps - they can explain things much better than anyone online can. Sending you strength through this wait.

My first born had NT 5mm. Nasal bone present, other physical measurements all ok. I was worried sick and even did amnio but all tests results came back negative. Gave birth to a perfectly healthy baby! Don't overthink, happy mummy = happy baby. All the best :)
