Honestly, 36 weeks is technically still considered premature (before 37 weeks), so even without symptoms like a bloody show or waters breaking, the doctors here will usually monitor baby quite closely after delivery, things like breathing, feeding, and temperature regulation are the main ones they watch. Someone in my mum group mentioned that their baby born at 36 weeks was healthy overall but still spent a few days in the special care nursery just for observation, which was stressful but manageable. The trade-off is that many 36-weekers do really well with no major issues, though there is a slightly higher chance of needing some extra support early on compared to a full-term baby, so it really depends on how baby is doing at the time. Either way, it's definitely worth having a detailed conversation with your gynae or neonatologist so they can assess your specific situation and give you a clearer picture of what to expect.
