Hi mummies, I’m overdue now should I be concern when there’s a light pink discharge and one drop of bleeding?

Don’t need to wait for water bag to burst! I had light pink discharge in the morning with mild cramps and called the hospital; was told to monitor. But by evening, I had brown discharge and contractions about every 5mins. Called the hospital again and was told to come down. I was already 4-5cm dilated then.
