Advice on polyclinic route

Hi mummies! I just found out I am pregnant and am currently at week4, we plan to head down to polyclinic to get a referral this week but unsure when will we get an appt at the hospital. We have a trip planned at week7-8. Will yall recommend waiting for the hospital appt or shall I go to a private clinic to get an early scan (just to check location of pregnancy, viability etc)? Want to get a piece of mind before we travel

hey there. i feel ur anxiousness. but usually its more difficult to see or hear anything before week 7. im on the polyclinic route with kkh. usually u will receive the appt sms within 2 weeks and the appt itself within 3 weeks. U can check ur health buddy appt. sometimes there will show the appt before u receive the sms. U can also try calling the hospital and see if they have records of ur referral and if can expedite ur appt.
