Epidural

Hi mummies. Can i check , epidural insert in no pain when giving birth? My friend told me that when she’s pushing out her baby that time, the nurse dropped her epidural dosage. And she could feel the pain strongly when she’s pushing baby out. Is it supposed to be this way?

When I was giving birth, hospital drop my epidurals dosage to push as well so I know where I am pushing. It should be a little by little so the contraction pain is not as much, but u still could feel what U’re doing :)
