Bathe baby with umbilical cord

Hi mummies, ftm here. Usually how do you give your baby a bathe when the umbilical cord is still there? Do you still use baby bath tub, and let water run down the whole body as per normal as long as the umbilical area is not submerged in water will do? And do you use body wash? Thank you. #firsttimemom
