Negative urine test but pregnant?

Hello mommies and mommies to be, Just wondering if u have experienced a negative urine home pregnancy test and went on to have a positive blood test/are pregnant? What happened? My period is late for 5 days but preg test shows negative. So weird to have symptoms of early pregnancy but keep having negative results.

I would say most reputable home pregnancy tests are very accurate when used correctly. They pick up the HCG hormone which is produced when you're pregnant. However, you may wish to check with your doctor if you usually have regular cycles to find out the cause of your late period if you're experiencing symptoms. lGood luck!

Home pregnancy test are not always accurate. I usually go to a clinic to check and get the right results
