Hey there! I totally understand what you're going through, and it's completely normal to feel this way during the early stages of pregnancy. Nausea can be really tough to deal with, especially when it seems like only certain types of food can make it go away. It's interesting that you've noticed a pattern with the type of food that helps alleviate your nausea. While it might seem unusual, it's not uncommon for some women to find relief from nausea by eating foods with strong flavors. Every person is different, and what works for one may not work for another. If these particular foods are helping you feel better, then it's okay to include them in your diet in moderation. However, it's also important to focus on maintaining a balanced and healthy diet during pregnancy. You mentioned that you've been trying to eat multiple small meals and bland foods, which is a great approach. In addition to the strong-flavored foods that seem to help with your nausea, continue incorporating nutrient-rich options like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins into your meals. If the nausea is persistent and affecting your ability to eat a variety of foods, it's a good idea to speak with your healthcare provider. They can offer personalized advice and recommendations to help manage your symptoms and ensure that you're getting the nutrients you and your baby need. Hang in there, and remember that you're doing great! It's all about finding what works best for you and your body during this special time. Wishing you all the best on your pregnancy journey! https://invl.io/cll6she
Don’t worry. I supposed most pregnant moms experience this during their morning sickness phase. Eat what you can and want for now, what’s important is you eat. What you’re averse to, avoid. It’ll only make you vomit. Constant empty stomach will also worsen your nausea. I couldn’t stand plain water and eggs when I had morning sickness and I was a plain water & egg person. I could only swallow carbonated drinks (and I’m not a carbonated drink person) and fried food. Try also bland snacks like cream crackers (Hup Seng, Jacob’s, SkyFlakes etc) to keep yourself from being empty. For now just make sure you’re well hydrated and fed.
Omg yes. I would need fries to get rid of it. Fruits like black plum and blueberries made me vomit. I had to eat spicy foods, noodles with tons of chilli and even spicy oily foods like mala such that I feel better. Surprisingly I felt so good after have Spicy Ramen too.
Haha yes! I always needed chocs and biskits n sweets stuff all the time. Still ate spicy throughout the pregnancy until heartburn started urgh. But do try dates! Really boosted energy and takes away abit of the nausea. Sucking on sour plums always helps too
yes I love fried food too.. but do consult your doctor they hav anti nausea med that may help... try to drink enough fluid for bowel too!
Honestly, just eat whatever you can as long as you eat. Eating is better than not eating anything. I always eat fast food
That was the case for me too! I kept craving for fast food, bbt and bak chor mee throughout my whole pregnancy 🥲
I was craving for McDonald's fries during my previous pregnancy. everything in moderation. Good luck!
