Cervix Check

I'm under NUH subsidised. Went for my 38 weeks appointment. The doctor only measure my fundal height and checked baby's heartbeat. Aren't they suppose to check for cervix dilation?

Nope, they will let you know in advance. I just went for my 38 weeks checkup too — same thing as you, baby’s growth and heartbeat. The doctor said he would be doing a membrane sweep to check internally next week (Week 39).

How do they check for baby's growth? Just the heartbeat?
