Is Abdominal Pain Normal?

Hi I'm in my 2nd month of pregnancy and I have been facing lower abdominal pain for a few week now. Is this normal cause baby is growing or is there anything I should look out for? I've been to the gynea but was just advised to take meds and bed rest. Would love to hear your thoughts mummies ?
