other users have provided list of things to buy and there is checklist there can be downloaded on google so i would like to provide recommendations instead (i'm a first time mum too)
personally i only started buying things when i'm wk30 because of storage and i read that first time parents tend to buy early and overbuy so i waited and just nice mummy market had a expo in jul'22 so i one shot bought everything there (bring a checklist along when baby shopping so you won't buy unnecessary items)
also this is something i noticed after going to the expo. most of the items warranty starts on the date of purchase or date of delivery (exception like breastmilk pump which warranty starts on baby delivery). therefore would be good not to buy early too.
for things like baby pram, you can think about what function you want, like for myself we wanted one that can convert between rear and front facing. and then for car seat we wanted something that can be used since new born till much older.
would be good to visit the fair to kiv the items and wait for sale in future to buy online or offline. nowadays since there's not much restrictions due to covid, there's more and more baby fair. and you know singapore, theres always sale happening. mummy market is holding another fair from 7th to 9th oct so would be good to check it out too! (do register for goodie bag)
hope this helps. have fun, enjoy this journey and may you have a smooth delivery 😊
