when will be the appropriate time to announce pregnancy to our parents?

For parents since they are the closest to you I presume, I tell them immediately after the blood test confirmation.

I only announced to my family when I was 12 weeks pregnant but my mother and some family members kinda guessed it.

I only intend to tell family & in laws after 1st trimester. Close friend and boss also after 1st trimester
