when will be the appropriate time to announce pregnancy to our parents?

Hi. Im currently 6 weeks preggy. Confirmed with KKH urine test. First ultrasound is 9th dec. When is the appropriate time to tell our parents about the pregnancy?

I only announced to my family when I was 12 weeks pregnant but my mother and some family members kinda guessed it.
