Which week onwards do u stop rubbing belly during pregnancy?

I usually rub when i talk to my baby, 28 wks and my baby responses, so i can bond with baby and can do kick count too. But i read n some articles suggest not to rub anymore after week 30-32 as i might make baby roll round and make chance for the cord to wrap around neck. Is it so? Anyone with experience to share? TIA.
