Infant care daily update

I am about to send my 5 month old baby to Sparkletots infant care next month and worried about her sleeping n eating schedule at ifc. Do ifc help to follow individual time schedule if we provide? Any parents with children in Sparkletots can share experience? Also does the school give parents daily update of child (i know private ones do) TIA.

Help! What rashes is this?

It has been a week plus. At 1st i thought it just normal heatrash n will go away with just bathe + lotion (happened b4 n it worked). But this rashes doesn't seem to. Baby sleep in aircon, even on rainy days. I bought eczema lotion n try too but doesn't seem better. And it is only on her front body and some on arm, nowhere else. Anyone knows what it could be?

Help! What rashes is this?

Due to CNY, we brought 1 month old baby out using Konny carrier (should have used stroller) . Another few days after she got colic n cry so much during evening n we had to carry to hush. And that's where she starts to get used to be carried and hugged Now everyday she cries to be carried so bad, i cant even do anything else. Any mom has experience how to train back? Is letting her cry till no more the only way? I worry she cry too much now still small, is it ok? SOS!

My baby used to be the same as yours, very clingy during her teething period as well as growth spurts and when she had colic. I used to be very worried that she will become very dependent and clingy. But now it’s better, somehow she herself no longer gets so clingy. However when her teething starts again, she will be clingy and fussy. As my mum is the one helping me to look after her as I am working everyday, she trained my baby girl back by putting her in sarong cradle which also gives her an idea that she’s being hugged. When We take care of her by ourselves, we observe her and try to wait for her to stop crying then carry her unless she cry too much, then we will carry her immediately. I do try not to let her cry too much as ‘wind’ will gets in to their body and colic will become worse, as well as at night when she’s sleeping she might cry as well. It happens to my baby girl, whereby in the day she cried too much, at night she also cry while asleep.

Light sleeper baby

My 1.5 month old baby cant fall into good naps during daytime. Even with dark quiet room, swaddled, she at most nap once a good 2 hour nap, other than that it is so hard to put her down for any other day nap as she always wake up after 2-3 minutes put down in cot. She can sleep good 11-12 hours night time (including dreamfeed 2-3 times at night). I worry she gets over tired and lack of sleep for development due to this n indeed she gets quite fussy these days. Any mom has experience can share how to get baby to nap better? SOS.

use the Yao lan it's the best. I use it during day time and put baby into bed at night

What kind of skin rash is it?

After my baby got heat rash (suspected) over body n subside a bit, suddenly now she got this around mouth, abit on ears, some onto eyes area too :((((((. It looks a batch of thick rashes and after 2- 3 days now, it is super dry with skin peel off Any mommy know what it is? Should i bring her to PD? Thanks much

Did you try apply moisturizer on her face? Or could it be ezcema? please bring her to the pd ASAP

Rash for 3wk old baby girl - is it heat rash or girl hormone pimple?

It started at her back, we went to see Dr but Dr say just bathe n apply lotion and didnt give any medicated cream. But now it spreads to head and forehead and face. We now put her in aircon most of time to cool down, hope it helps. Any super mom has experience in treating this? TIA.

Looks like heat rash or could be allergy to shower gel/shampoo.

Will u take blessed breastmilk from strangers to feed your baby if you have low supply?

My baby is 15 days old and still not latching well, i have very low supply (barely 300ml pump in total one day). I saw many mummies with lots of milk blessing away. Should i take it for my baby or should just give formula?

if you don't mind why not? I've blessed alot of milk to strangers too. but some will mind like ask if your diet is ok etc. milk supply works in supply and demand. try pumping every 2 hour for 30 min at least to stimulate more milk

Ultrasound baby weight accuracy

Is ultrasound baby weight accurate? I m 37w and Dr told me my baby is at 3.2kg, i wonder if baby weight via ultrasound is accurate coz i dont gain much weight though... And Dr also said, for normal delivery, baby should not be > 3.5kg, so i might be induced before EDD :s, else baby will be too big for normal delivery Appreciate your experience sharing!

mine last estimated was 2.9 kg at 39 weeks,gave birth at 3.1 kg

As a non chinese, i ask my husband (chinese) side to choose a name for our baby girl. They come back with this name 念慈 My husband cant even explain what name means :(. Can anyone help? Is it a unpopular name?

Baby movement in 3rd trimester- roll rather than kick

Early into my 3rd trimester, i realized my baby's movements are more of rolling than kicking or jabbing. So it is more mild n less aggressive than in 2nd trimester, which means i have to pay more attention to watch out for the movements. Is it common? I thought baby will be more active with kicking in 3rd trimester except maybe last weeks before labour due to limited room...#abit worried#
