If you are going for a subsidised route, book an appointment with ur preferred polyclinic via health buddy app. Request for a referral to your preferred hospital (KKH, SGH, NUH). After you got your referral letter, the polyclinic will provide you with folic acid, for you to take daily while waiting for your hospital appt. (You may consider converting to a private route halfway through eg: 2nd trimester onwards) Otherwise you may consider any of the private gynae, however the cost will be a huge difference. 🙂

Contact your nearest or preferred gynae for an appt! They will scan for u and advise from there. Also think about where you would prefer to give birth after that - for example if you want to go public hospital like NUH then need to go to NUH gynae . But the waiting time is usually long so you can scan at a nearby private gynae first to make sure everything is ok

Congrats on your pregnancy. For private gynae, you should call your clinic to book an appointment. Usually they will only want to see u at about 7-8w, for dating and heartbeat. In the meantime, ensure you are eating folic acid. U can purchase obimin multivitamin from Watson
