glucose tolerance test is draw blood or poke small hole on finger to test?

I can't imagine having to draw tubes of blood within 2 hours. One before drinking glucose and one hour after drinking.

3 times for me, at NUH. Took 3 vials of blood. Don't make the same mistake as me, take the whole day off work. I planned to go back to work after that but was so weak so I took the day off after that.
