I think the reason why you have a backache is because of your sleeping position. I've read that sleeping on your back puts the entire weight of your growing uterus and baby on your back that's why you get backache. It is recommended to sleep on sideways position specially on the left for better blood circulation.
I loaded the whole bed with pillows trying to find the most comfortable position. Just make sure you feel better after adding in the pillows
Would sleeping sideways on the left help? If yes place a small pillow under your belly too Cat stretches may help as well

Yeah, as long as it doesn't cause your backache to worsen. Try shifting your position occasionally.
You can try sleeping sideway, it will feels slightly better and get some massage to ease a little.
yes, whatever makes you feel comfortable, try a maternity pillow if it helps
