Yea, usually the doctor will do a blood test to confirm your pregnancy. But if you’re scared of needles and you confirm with urine test, maybe can ask the gynae if they can do an ultrasound instead? But ultrasound examination will cost more than a hcg blood test

I got positive results on home kit this week . And waiting to go GP to draw blood next week partly cuz my husband is now away with biz trip & he wanted to go with me next week 😃
