Skin Condition

Hi I have alot of stretch marks from my vagina area to my stomachdue to last time I was overweight before pregnant. I was at NUH today and the doctor said to the nurse as a comment "she has a skin condition." and I'm wondering if that's even allowed to make a passing comment like that. Made me feel insecure. Had she asked me directly I would've explained..
