my baby stand too soon?

I just had to share my excitement and a bit of surprise with you all! My baby is 7,5 months old, and today he stood up for the first time! 😲 Although he still needs support and holds onto furniture, seeing him stand was such a thrilling and unexpected moment. I wasn’t expecting this milestone so soon, and it really took me by surprise. Have any of you experienced this with your little ones at this age?

My firstborn started standing up on his own while holding on to the cot railing just before he turned 6 months. Since then he started to walk around holding onto the wall before he independently walk unassisted at 8+ months. Everyone was surprised as it was considered very fast for a baby. His other motor skills were also more advanced for his age according to my PD but it came at a price, he was too focused in his motor skills that he started talking late. We were so afraid that he had a speech delay so we went to see a specialist at 1.5 year old. But we stopped aft a few sessions as there was not much improvement and the sessions were expensive. Somehow at 2.5 years old, he started to talk more and by the time my 2nd was born before his 3rd birthday, he became a chatterbox. Really non stop talking, like as if he suddenly found his voice! So yes, different baby develops very differently. Now with my 2nd, a girl, she still has yet to master crawling at 6 months when her brother alr started crawling at 4+ months. But she's definitely more social, babbles much more than her brother, smiling more often at other ppl and clapping too.

Wow, that's amazing to hear about your baby standing up at 7.5 months old! It must have been such an exciting and surprising moment for you. Every baby develops at their own pace, so it's great to celebrate these milestones as they come. At 7.5 months, some babies may start trying to stand with support from furniture or people. It's important to ensure that your baby is doing this in a safe and supervised environment to prevent any accidents. You can encourage and support your baby's standing practice by providing sturdy furniture or toys for them to hold onto. If your baby is showing interest in standing, you can also try activities that help strengthen their leg muscles, like gentle bouncing or assisted walking. Remember to always praise and encourage your baby during these moments to boost their confidence. It's always nice to hear about other parents' experiences, as every baby is unique. Keep enjoying these precious moments with your little one and celebrate each new achievement along the way! https://invl.io/cll6she

this is one of the usual 7-month old milestone! it's normal and exciting! 😇 just a tip though. do not be pressured if your baby walks independently/unassisted not soon enough. they will know when their body is able to support themselves. my girl cruised along furnitures then at 11 months started to slowly try and walk unassisted but was only confident and officially walking at 13 months. i have people who keep saying "she's just lazy" and i hated that because of the pressures other people are giving. but yay to a milestone reached!

My baby stood at 7 months on the dot! It's actually a normal milestone for this age :) But, might still be months to go till they start walking independently so don't be discouraged if it's not as soon as expected!

my baby also started pulling herself up with support at around 7 to 8 months too! then by 11 months she started walking slowly unassisted

Good job little one! This helps to strength their legs but still awhile more before they start walking. Mine walked at around 13months
