Nuh or kkh to give birth (subsidised)?

I had my first child at kkh, during labour I was straight taken up to the delivery suit and was there till I was dilated & ready to give birth the service was good but only thing was the stitching that could been done better (slight phobia after first birth). I'm currently now 5mths, chose nuh this time round. But heard that nuh if not dilated I be brought to the ward and be Brought up & down to delivery suit if I need epidurals and etc and if not ready to give birth I be back at ward till ready too? But if I'm in labour in the night will my husband be allowed to be in the ward with me? Or does anyone have an idea how this works? I'm pretty unsure of how nuh delivery procedure works, please help!

I gave birth in NUH A1 ward. I was induced but didn’t have labour pains till days later. However while waiting for the A1 ward to be ready, I was parked in the B1 ward which husband is only allowed to stay till visiting hours. Anyway, I was in the ward and had to go to the triage at the delivery suite to get checked for dilation, ctg etc every few hours. If everything ok and still not ready for labour, I was pushed back to my ward. Finally days later, I felt pain and was pushed to the delivery room of which I gave birth hours later :)
