I don't like to wash my five-month-old's face with soap. What can I use instead?

I don't encourage using anything to wash their face actually. Just water before the bath soap is put into the bath water is sufficient to wash their face. If you are more conservative you can use cool boiled water. http://www.babycentre.co.uk/a553837/bathing-your-newborn

I don't wash my son's face with soap either because I'm paranoid about getting it in his eyes. I'll usually just use warm water + bath cloth to clean his face before putting on his cream. That to me is sufficient as it keeps my baby's face clean.

Use Gram Flour Paste. you can make it at home only, mixing raw milk, turmeric and gram flour. Also its a oldest one.

thanks

Either a wet washcloth with no soap or a baby wipe

You can use miscellar water!
