Definitely talk to her upfront about it. Listen to what she has to say, and then respond with your views. If she is truly contrite and assures you that she won't do it again, and you're still comfortable with her taking care of your kid, then you may want to give her a second chance. Otherwise, you may have to let her go.

That's unacceptable! Sure, she can do whatever she wants during her free time but of course not with your toddler's iPad! I would most definitely speak to her about it. I just hope she's not watching it in front of your todd or when he's around even if he's playing independently. :/

You have to talk to your maid and get her replaced. First of all, she is not suppose to touch the toddlers ipad for her own usage. Secondly, what happen if your toddler accidentally touched it? I would advise you to download the youtube kids version.

Agreed with a lot of the replies here - what she does in her personal time is her business, but watching things like that on your child's iPad is totally inappropriate. Have a chat with her and be firm and clear about boundaries and what is expected of her.

Danger alert... first check if your child has been tampered with by the servant. In either ways a warning of not doing this again can be given but it could get difficult to trust this person with your child. Block access and look out for a new maid pls!

This is a common sense and if she needs to be told about this also then I don't think she can be trusted anymore to take care of your baby without your supervision . I agree find a new one but before that of course ensure it's done by her only.

Child lock it. Then have a good talk with your helper about it. Tell her that it's not right for her to be viewing that as your child is using the ipad. Ask her to put herself in her shoes and if she'd like it if her kids saw the contents.

Confront your maid immediately and ask her what she has been doing in your absence and what you found. If she does not accept her mistake, do not give her access to the ipad and add parental control if you feel she should still have one.

Choosing to view pornography is a private matter, but viewing it on your toddler's iPad is a no-no as your toddler may very well stumble upon it when he is using it. I would set a password on it and restrict her access.

Lol at the anonymous comment about knowing it's not your toddler. So while I am usually quite liberal I would not tolerate my helper viewing porn while she is working or using my equipment. Would you do it in your office?
