How do you find nanny? Through nanny service agent or referral?

We hired a night nanny for our daughter for 2 months. Besides caring for her at night so I get to catch up on sleep, her purpose is to help sleep train our baby and get her on a normal night schedule. I found her through online recommendations. She's excellent and I would HIGHLY recommend her. She came at 10pm and left at 7 am. Her name is nanny Saro and you can find her online through her website. (Ps she's a trained nurse as well)

I prefer getting referrals, it makes me feel safer and more comfortable. I got a nanny for my son when I went back to work. Her job was to do everything for the baby, nothing for my home. found her by refferal. She is good and taking care of my son so well. The referral is her sister who works for my neighbour, so they work together in one neighbourhood now. i hope it is the advantage for her because finding good nanny really hard nowadays.

I would prefer getting through referrals too from people close to me.
