Read moredear mom, one of the first things you can try that helped my babies was to warm some mustard oil and rub it on your baby's chest and throat area. it helps to keep your baby warm and move the mucous out of the system, while also improving blood circulation. you can also massage your baby's feet with the same and put on socks, to keep the heat in place and prevent further cold and cough.

Give this paste to the baby in a spoon full of water or milk twice a day. The amount of paste should be equal to a daal (lentil) grain. You can give it continuously for 3-5 days.

I agree with Debolina, besides that make sure that you give warm water to your baby throughout the day. If you can add a few tulsi leaves to that water, it would be great.
Hi, I always prefer honey with warm milk. It really helps a lot. It also improves the immunity system in infants as well as todders.
